I am Rae! The one and only artist behind Faulty Logic and Dissonance. I currently live in St Catharines, Ontario. Are you Fox or Jalyss? Yes. Are you a boy or a girl? Maybe. Why "Dissonance?" I felt the word "Dissonance" properly portrayed the feeling of disharmony and... discomfort that the story ultimately settles around. What is Dissonance About? Dissonance allows the reader to follow two researchers during their discovery and investigation of an undiscovered species right in their own backyards. It is a story about the human need to understand I cooked up many years ago (even before working on Faulty Logic) that I've been pondering on and off ever since. Why did you stop working on Faulty Logic to do this? I was having a lot of trouble facing a blank page every week. I originally created Faulty Logic to give me as much freedom as possible, but as time went on it was that very freedom that started to strangle me. I want to tell a story, and I think Dissonance is the best way to do that. Where is Dissonance Set? St Stephens, a fictional University city in a forested section of North America. How long will Dissonance Run? Dissonance is a story with a pre-planned arc. I don't currently know how long it will take to get through the entire story, but I am betting it will be at least several years. Once the story has ended, the comic will be over.
